2 Corinthians 13:11-12
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be perfected, be comforted, be of the same mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. (WEB) Our Father is not known as a God of wrath and fear... He is known as 'the God of love and peace'. In today's Scripture reading, we have reason to rejoice because we are children of the God of love and peace! May the reality of His unconditional love and acceptance cause us to sink into a peace that passes our own natural understanding. May we all live a life of love that will calm every anxious thought. My prayer today is that we truly would know that love and peace are part of the heavenly inheritance that is ours in Christ. We don't have to strive or earn it because it is simply ours because of our relationship with the God of love and peace. May you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is really with you today no matter what challenges you may face in your life. His will for you is an abundant life (John 10:10) filled with His love and peace. Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever. (WEB) Comments are closed.
