GOD WITH US
Matthew 1:23
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son. They shall call his name Immanuel;” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.” (WEB)
As we approach the final days before Christmas, let us be reminded that Jesus is called "Immanuel," which means "God with us." His birth two thousand years ago marked the moment when God Himself chose to dwell among us.
Everything Jesus did showed that God Himself was now "with us". In this busy season, my prayer is that we will experience the "Immanuel" of God more this year than ever before.
The Christmas season is one of the most challenging times of the year for those facing financial or relationship struggles. It’s also a time when we miss loved ones who have passed away. May we all feel the tangible presence of God this week, so we can wholeheartedly testify that we are not alone because God Himself is with us.
