NOVEMBER 23
FATHER'S LOVE POURED OUT
Romans 5:3-5
3 Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope: 5 and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (WEB)
No matter what difficult times we face in life, no matter how much we suffer or how much we need to persevere, we hold onto the hope that will never let us down. God Himself, the glorious Father, has poured His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us.
Though there will be times when we experience heartache and loss, may the Holy Spirit give us grace to see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. And that light is the love of God. No matter what difficulties we face, His love makes us more than conquerors.
May a fresh outpouring of His love fill each of our hearts today as we realize that God's love for us has no end. May we be convinced that His love will never disappoint us, and may we align ourselves with what the Apostle John wrote in 1 John 4:16.
We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. (WEB)
