WORDS FROM THE FATHER
John 12:49-50
49 For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak.” (WEB)
Jesus Christ was and is the exact representation of His Father (Hebrews 1:3). I have said it in many of my blogs and will continue to say it as often as I can. There is one God expressed in three Persons. Father, Son & Holy Spirit. They are one in heart and have nothing but love and honor for one another.
When Jesus came to earth two thousand years ago, He was the image of the invisible God in a world where misguided religious leaders distorted God's image. Jesus only spoke the words His Father told Him to speak, and He always did what He saw His Father doing.
If you struggle to imagine what our heavenly Father is like, look no further than Jesus. Everything that Jesus did originated in the heart of His Father. The passion of our elder brother was and continues to be imparting to us a revelation of Father God. He came to show us what His Father was like and to make a way for each one of us to come home (John 14:6) so that His Dad could be our Dad, too (John 20:17).
I pray that we would all experience a deeper revelation of God's Fatherheart today simply by being reminded that whoever has the Son also has the Father.
1 John 2:23
Whoever denies the Son, the same doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also. (WEB)
