THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (WEB)
Romans 8:1 says there is no condemnation to all who are in Christ Jesus... period. If you have received the free gift of Jesus' life for your life and you are living under condemnation, it does not come from God. The Bible says that Satan is the accuser of the brethren... not our God and Father.
Jesus came into the world to save it, not to judge it. The heart of God is to save us from our sins and remove them from us as far as the east is from the west. Jesus took upon Himself our judgment so that we could receive complete forgiveness and restoration through the finished work of the cross.
My prayer today is that we would be able to recognize the difference between condemnation that originates from darkness and the conviction of the Holy Spirit that causes us to live in the light. May we all know that the blood of Jesus is enough to cleanse us from all unrighteousness from past, present and future sins. May the Holy Spirit that lives within free us from every form of guilt, shame and condemnation today!
Romans 8:33-34
33 Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. (WEB)
