HE WHO DWELLS IN THE SECRET PLACE
Psalm 91:1-4
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. (WEB)
We all have a safe place in God's embrace where we can seek refuge. There is a secret place where we can rest, living in the shadow of the Most High all our days. In this refuge, we are protected from the things that can steal our peace.
His feathers will be our shield. His wings will be our fortress. Nothing, absolutely nothing, can harm us there, for if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31). My prayer today is that we all recognize the safety and security that is our spiritual reality, no matter how chaotic the world around us seems.
May the peace that surpasses all understanding make this promise from God a reality for us today. We all have a safe place to retreat where nothing can harm us. May we journey there now and place our complete trust in the Most High, for He is a good God and Father to all who seek shelter in Him.
1 John 5:18
We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. (NLT)
