YAHWEH WON'T FORGET HIS SAINTS
Psalm 37:27-28
27 Depart from evil, and do good. Live securely forever. 28 For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. (WEB)
Have you ever felt forgotten by somebody? If you were supposed to meet someone for a meeting and they didn't show up? Or maybe someone forgot to acknowledge a special occasion of yours. No matter how you look at it, being forgotten is not a good experience. When someone forgets us, we somehow feel a little less valuable to them.
In today's Scripture reading, we are reminded that our God and Father will never abandon or forget us. We can live confidently forever knowing that we are safe and secure in His big, strong arms, even if those around us (especially our parents) have forgotten us. God will never forsake us!
My prayer today is that we will have the faith to believe this is truly the truth. Even if many life experiences suggest otherwise, may we understand that our God and Father will never, ever abandon us... No matter what we do!
Isaiah 49:15-16
“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. (WEB)
