THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE
John 17:3
3 This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. (WEB)
We often think of eternal life as a span of time that lasts forever. Some believers believe that eternal life begins when we end our physical life and enter glory. But in today's passage, Jesus explains what eternal life truly is... And that is simply having a living, loving relationship with both God the Father and God the Son.
The truth is that we are living in eternal life right now. We don't have to wait for it to start because it began the moment we received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He is life itself. The good news is that now we can grow in this wonderful life by having a living, loving relationship with both Father and Son through the Holy Spirit.
My prayer today is that we all experience the richness and abundance of eternal life that Jesus died for us to enjoy... right now!
John 10:10
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. (WEB)
