THE FATHER LOVINGLY CHOSE US

Ephesians 1:3-5
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ; 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love; 5 having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire, (WEB)

God's plan of salvation for us is complete. He chose us before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. He has also blessed us with every spiritual blessing there is in heaven because we have been united with His Son, Jesus Christ. 

Because of our Father's great love for us, we are now adopted into His glorious family and have become His children through our faith in Christ. This is what He has been after all along! That we would be called His children.

My prayer today is that each and every one of us would know that we were loved before the foundation of the world. Whether our earthly parents planned us or not, our Heavenly Father chose us to be in Christ long before the earth was made. Our lives were not a mistake. Each one of us were wanted by God and chosen to be part of His eternal, glorious plan!

1 John 3:1-2
1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it is not yet revealed what we will be. But we know that, when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is. (WEB)
