PAPA'S PRECIOUS POSSESSION

Deuteronomy 7:6
For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God: Yahweh your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth. (WEB)

In the Old Testament, the nation of Israel was the object of our Father's affection. There are many places where we can get an insight of God's Fatherheart not only for Israel, but for us too. Today's Bible verse is one of those very special passages where we see how Papa God sees us.

We are a people that are very precious to Him. As a matter of fact, we are His own treasured possession. As Paul reminds us in Romans 8:31... What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (WEB)

Even at times when we feel that the whole world is against us, if we have the assurance that God is for us, then we are in the majority! Why is God for us? Simply because He has chosen us before the foundation of the world to be adopted into His family in Christ. You are His beloved! You are His treasured possession! He loves you because He loves you!

My prayer today is that we would all know of our infinite value to our heavenly Father. We were all chosen to be our Papa's precious possession!

Ephesians 1:3-6
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ; 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love; 5 having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire, 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved, (WEB)
