HOPE AND A FUTURE

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. (WEB)

In Psalm 139:17-18 King David wrote these words... 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum! 18 If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you. (WEB)  What David was saying was that God's thoughts toward Him outnumbered the grains of sand on the seashore!

Why not just take a moment and think of this amazing truth? The God who created the heavens and the earth is thinking about you right now... And He never stops thinking about you. If you ever wondered what kind of thoughts He has towards you, look no further than today's Bible reading.

God speaks directly to us in this passage of Scripture and tells us that the thoughts He has towards us are only good ones! The NIV Bible says Jeremiah 29:11 this way... For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV)

God's heart for you is to bless you and prosper you because that is what good fathers do for their children. He has a wonderful plan in store for you that gives you hope for a bright future. If you ever doubted His intent for your life, may today be the day when faith rises up in your heart and you cry out "Lord, I believe!"

He is a good Father who delights in giving His children good gifts. May every misconception of His nature be vanquished today by the overwhelming revelation of His goodness and His love towards you. Your Heavenly Father is thinking about you right now...and they are all good thoughts!
