GOD BREATHED WORDS

2 Timothy 3:16-17
Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (WEB)

We know that there is the written 'logos' Word of God and there is the spoken/present 'rhema' Word of God. Both are absolutely essential in a believer's life. When Jesus responded to the devil's attacks in the wilderness, He started off with the words "It is written"... followed by a Scripture that He declared. We also know that Jesus Himself is the Living Word (John 1:1).

My prayer today is that each and every one of us would feed off of both the written and spoken Word that comes from God. As we abide in Jesus who is the Living Word,  may faith rise up in our hearts! May we all agree with what God says about our situation in His Word even when our circumstances say something else.

My prayer is that we would all be a people who love God's Word and walk in the wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit, to know when to declare "It is written" in the face of challenges that come our way today.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (WEB)
