FRUITFUL MULTIPLICATION

Jude 1-2
1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ: 2 Mercy to you and peace and love be multiplied. (WEB)

Many of the New Testament letters start with a greeting from the author. Often you will find greetings that include the words grace, mercy and peace from both the Father & the Son in the writer's salutation. I believe that the reason why these words are continually emphasized throughout these letters is because it is our Father's heart that we would live in a constant awareness of His grace, His mercy and His peace every day.

In today's Bible reading, Jude writes to those who are sanctified by the Father and kept for Jesus - which is everyone who has received the free gift of His Son. In his salutation, Jude also wrote the words... Mercy to you and peace and love be multiplied.I believe that God wants not to just add mercy, peace and love to our daily lives, but He wants to multiply it!

As you go about your daily activities today, may you carry within your being a keen awareness of the mercy that God has for you. May His peace that passes understanding guard your heart and your mind and may you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate you from His amazing, everlasting love.

Philippians 4:6-7
