CLOSE TO THE BROKENHEARTED

Psalm 34:18
18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. (WEB)

No matter what you are experiencing today, the Lord is close. No matter how deep your despair, our God and Father promises to be near to you. In the great commission (Matthew 28:20) Jesus makes this promise to us... Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (WEB)

Sometimes it is difficult for us to run into our Father's arms when we are hurting the most. Maybe we think that He will not understand our pain, or maybe we think that He is the one who caused the pain in the first place. My encouragement to you today is that God is closer than you could possibly imagine, even in the darkest times of our life.

He is extending His offer of comfort today so that we might find refuge in His big strong arms. My prayer is that we would all know that He is close when we are brokenhearted and He promises to save us when we are crushed in spirit.
