AN EVERLASTING LOVE

Jeremiah 31:3
Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you. (WEB)

A good friend of mine, Jack Winter used to describe the everlasting love that God refers to in this passage this way... "There was never a time in all of eternity when you weren't loved." What an amazing promise from our Heavenly Father! There was never a time and there will never be a time when you were not completely and unconditionally loved by God!

Many of us live our lives looking for love in all of the wrong places. Perhaps we didn't receive the love that we needed growing up, so we search for it in many counterfeit things. Today I want to encourage you that even though you may not have received love from those around you, there is One who has always loved you and will always love you!

My prayer today is that each and every one of us would go deeper into the amazing life-changing, transforming love that God has for us. He loved us before the creation of the world and He chose us to be in His beloved Son for all of eternity!

Ephesians 1:3-6
