ALL THINGS WORK FOR GOOD

Romans 8:28
28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (WEB)

Today's Bible passage doesn't say that all things are good, but it does say that all things work together for good for those who love God... Jesus told us that in this world, we would definitely have trouble... BUT we can still rejoice because He has overcome the world!

Though the consequences of a fallen humanity are all around us, let us be comforted with these words. No matter what happens in our life, nothing in all creation can ever separate us from the love that God has for us. Death can't separate us from His love, sickness can't separate us, famine can't separate us.

My prayer today for all of us is that the love that God has for us would overshadow any difficulties that we might be facing. Though all things that we experience today aren't good, we can take comfort in knowing that our God and Father can cause all things to work together for our good. May the Holy Spirit give us eyes to see what God is doing from an eternal perspective rather than just from a temporal viewpoint.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
16 Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; 18 while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (WEB)
