REAL LIFE FOR YOUR BODY

Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. (WEB)

Today's verse is talking about resurrection power. Something so powerful that it raised Jesus from the dead. The source of this dynamic force is the Spirit of the living God which dwells in the bodies of every believer of Jesus Christ. In today's Bible passage, the Apostle Paul tells us if the Spirit of God dwells in us, then this same resurrection power will give life to our mortal bodies as well!

My prayer today is that we will all feel a surge of energy in our mortal bodies that comes from the Holy Spirit within! May we be reminded of what Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 4:20... For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. (WEB) ...And that dynamite power lives in YOU!

May the level of faith in our hearts rise to a new level today as we ask our Father to empower us with His very own Spirit in all that we do. May the overshadowing, outpouring and infilling of His Spirit give life to not only our spirits, but our soul and bodies as well!

Acts 1:8
