PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love. (WEB)

In Romans 8:15, the Apostle Paul tells us that God has not given us a spirit that makes us a slave to fear but He has given us His own Spirit of sonship that calls out 'Abba Father'. This means that there is no fear in love whatsoever. As a matter of fact, fear and love cannot co-exist. Wherever you find love, fear has to be driven out!

If you are struggling with fear in your life, don't focus on the problem, focus on the solution. The way to deal with fear is to ask God to bring a deeper revelation of His love into your heart. The more that we know we are loved by Almighty God, the less fear will be an issue. As Paul said in Romans 8:35-39...

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Even as it is written, “For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
