We are heirs according to promise...

Galatians 3:27-29
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to promise. When we said 'yes' to Jesus, we were literally baptized into His body. The old life that we used to live no longer exists. As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17... Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. (WEB)

In Christ, there is neither male or female, slave or free, Jew or Greek. We are all ONE in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are in Him and He is in us! What an amazing salvation we have! Though there are times in our lives when we feel separated from Him because of circumstances, the biblical truth is that nothing in all creation can ever separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39).

No matter how dark your past life history has been, your present life and your future life is bright and secure because of the transformation that happened when you said 'yes' to Jesus. Through the finished work on the cross, you are now part of the amazing biblical lineage that goes back to Abraham and you are now considered Abraham's seed.

Thank you Jesus for removing every religious barrier (Jew vs Greek), every economic barrier (slave vs free) and even every gender barrier (male vs female) when you baptized us into your life and made us your heirs according to promise!

Genesis 12:1-3
1 Now Yahweh said to Abram, “Get out of your country, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. You will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. All of the families of the earth will be blessed in you.” (WEB)
