A living hope...

1 Peter 1:3-5
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you, 5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (WEB)

This is an amazing passage of Scripture that tells of the living hope that we have in Jesus Christ. Because of our God and Father's great mercy, we have an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that will never ever fade away. Our inheritance is reserved in heaven for us!

Almighty God has become our Father! The Son of the living God has become our Elder Brother! We are part of the most amazing family in the universe! May the revelation of this truth cause us to cry out 'Bless you Father for your amazing love!'

The promise of our eternal salvation is guarded by the very power of God. May hope rise up within your heart today knowing that you are safe and secure and belong to the most loving family ever!

John 8:35
Now a slave does not remain in a household permanently (forever); the son [of the house] does remain forever. (NIV)
