As the Father sent His Son, Jesus sends us...

John 20:21-22
21 Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” 22 When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit! (WEB)

In all that we do as believers, we are recipients of everything that Jesus received from His Father. In Luke 22:29, we read that Jesus confers on us a kingdom in the same way that His Father conferred a kingdom on Him. In John 15:9 Jesus says... Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love. (WEB)

In today's Scripture passage, we read that Jesus sends us out in the same way that His Father sent Him out. With the breath of God, Jesus breathed on His disciples and they received the Holy Spirit. My prayer today is that we would all feel the breath of God and receive a deeper impartation of the Holy Spirit's power in our lives.  May the love of God propel us by His Holy Spirit into our destinies today in the same way that the Father sent Jesus into the world.

Luke 22:29-30
29 I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me, 30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. You will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” (WEB)
